Fun Fair Necessary During Thaipusam?

Dear friends,

For this year's Thaipusam celebration at Batu Caves, local authorities are pressuring the temple's management by not giving permit to run their business this year.

I can cay , it is a pretty good idea, because it will be easier for the crowd to move around, and more space will be provided.

They are even charging for business permit for every shops inside Batu Caves this year. Really got no idea wether the management will pay the sum or not..
I dont know wether this is the right solution, but I do have this feelings that, the place wont look attractive or cheerful. What you will see , crowd and shops...Childrens...only balloons and toys..no fun fare!!!
I might agree with some of you that the management are charging extremely with sky rocketing prices, and they deserve to pay to the authorities, but why the fun fare was not approvedYou know why,. because its a temple not a amusement park...its the only reasons the authorities are giving.. I agree with that.
The business have been running for years, everyone knew that. Just my opinion, I dont think that, this is the right way for the state government to help our community. Come on , we need more than that..
Here in Batu Caves, our Muniswarar temple will offer shops every year during Thaipusam at Batu Caves, and believe me you wont have any idea how many people who came to Batu Caves asking about Fun Fare. Last year the fun fare operation was stopped by the authorities and just because they already set up everything , permission was granted, but only at night from 7pm till 12 am on Thaipusam day.
Looking at this massive machines doing nothing, the lights were switched on, but the fun fare didn't operate, how many devotees, visitors, some of them from different state came to Batu Caves by bus, by trip, family with children were dissapointed by this action. I mean the excitement is gone...
May be this is the right action, or not? Still it depends on the public's view on how they accept this?

What you think?
